I have a feeling the X Guard Tsunami Gi is pretty bulletproof. It's a bit on the heavy side, I'd say similar to an Atama Mundial in weight, but I think that's because they used a nice durable material for both the top and the pants. For being a bit on the thick side the jacket tends to dry pretty quickly and I attribute that to the pearl weave. The collar also has a nice thickness to it.

The one thing that I will mention is that the tape that they used on the inside of the sleeve cuffs and pants is downright annoying and at times painful. It has sharp edges that I would notice even in the middle of a roll. I think if they were to use a softer more silky material instead there would be no issues. I let X Guard know about this issue and they told me that they would look into it. I guess we shall see if future models still feel the same.
